Hello classroom todays class was not unlike others. We discussed more about the evolution of America's literary history and focused primarily on transcendentalism. Which was at the peak of romanticism but not one hundred percent the same. Transcendentalism definition is an idealistic philosophical and social movement based on the beauty of nature and is influenced heavily by romanticism. We also discussed people like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau and their beliefs on how to achieve happiness. To end the class we worked on our marking period one reflection.
